When it comes to accessorizing, the right piece of jewelry is the magic wand that takes your outfit to the next level and makes you look chic.  But how to choose the perfect jewelry and make sure that it will work with all your outfits?  Well, I got 3 TIPS FOR YOU to make that happen:

• MODERN DESIGN

If you opt for earrings or a bracelet that were designed in a certain decade, it will be easy to identify to which era it belongs and, let’s be honest, you will look like you are aging with it.  As a result, you may look older than you really are. Do you want that?!

• LESS IS MORE

Simple design jewelry are easier to mix-and-match with your outfits or with each other.  This way you save money!

• TRAIN YOUR EYES

From time to time, take a peek on your favourite blogger’s account or go through the pages of a famous magazine to stay “visually” updated!

And now that we know what we want, I’m gonna recommend 3 BRANDS that I always turn to when I need an accessory update.

1. JENNY BIRD

ABSO-BLOODY-LUTELY love love love this brand! You just can’t go wrong with it. It’s a little bit pricey but it’s worth it (plus I’m gonna give you other alternatives). This Canadian brand, founded in 2008, produces its pieces in China and is adored by celebrities and retailers.  I used two Jenny Bird bracelet in a shoot in the summer. Check the pictures below.

2. COS

The Swedish brand COS is best known for its modern and minimal design.  In addition to accessories, they offer clothing and shoes for women, men and kids.  In contrast to their sister company H&M, COS uses sterling silver and gold pleated brass in their jewelry.  The name COS is short for “Collection Of Style”, in case you were wondering!  Here’s what I liked from COS .

3. ALDO

Another Canadian brand with a speciality in shoes and accessories. They offer a boundless options of jewelry at a lower price range.  The quality might not last forever. However, it will serve its worth if you take care of it.  I visited their website too and here’s my pick for the modern jewelry from ALDO.
